The IAPA adoption campaign has won a Silver Pencil at the One Show in New York. This is a fantatastic achievement considering that the One Show is arguably the most prestigious advertising award in the world and very few Indian ads have ever won there!
The innovative print campaign, which was supported by the Playwin Foundation, consisted of three doublespread ads which had a special transparent page in the middle. A picture of the child in printed on the transparent page. When you first see the ad, the child appears homeless. Then you turn the transparent page and you see the same child inside a home. The campaign was created by Ogilvy & Mather and released in Time Out magazine.
O&M has been working on the adoption campaign pro bono for the past three years and it has been one of its most awarded campaigns.
Congratulations to all who contributed selflessly to make this campaign happen. This is a worthwhile campaign that deserves to be seen by as wide an audience as possible.
